During our recent family vacation at Hotel Medieval in Alba Iulia, we found ourselves immersed in a truly unique experience. The hotel's location inside the Alba Carolina fortification was exceptional, allowing easy access to the main sights. It gave the kids a chance to learn about history firsthand while enjoying a beautiful stroll. We took advantage of the equitation centre for some horse riding, which ended up being a highlight of our trip. My children loved the experience, and it was a lovely way for us to bond outside the usual hotel activities. The large, clean rooms provided a perfect retreat after our daily explorations, and I appreciated the quiet, with my family sleeping soundly each night. The breakfast was practical, offering a good variety, and we often enjoyed our meals outdoors when the weather allowed. While my family really enjoyed the stay, I felt the hotel could enhance its family-friendly amenities a bit more. We came away with precious memories and a deeper appreciation for this beautiful historical site. A fitting choice for families exploring Alba Iulia!
